How to Earn an Income Passively using Amazon Affiliate Links
Step 1: Set up a website. There are many hosting options available, and I am by no means an expert on any of them. But I can tell you that I used to use GoDaddy.com until I changed my website from a commercial site into a blog. Because I now blog from my website, www.junthegroomer.com, I prefer to use WordPress.com. I’d like to reiterate that I am not an expert. I’m not very good with technology either, so I encourage you to do your own research before deciding which hosting site to go with.
Step 2: Go to www.affiliate-program.amazon.com to start a new account. If you already have an account with Amazon, you can simply sign in with your username and password. Then follow the step-by-step set up by filling out the information. You’ll have to provide your tax information before they can pay you any commission. You can also provide your bank account information in order to receive direct deposits, or use a PayPal account as well.
Step 3: After you’ve set up your affiliate account with Amazon, you can sign into your dashboard. There you can search for products on Amazon, and obtain unique links to those products that will allow Amazon to track the sales that come in as a result of clicking on your unique link. Then you will receive a commission on all items purchased in the cart. That’s right! You get commission on the entire sale!
