When I was younger, my favorite books to read were a part of a series called Choose Your Own Adventure. They were all different stories that gave you different choices at critical points in the story. Depending on what you choose the book would have you turn to a different page: “Now turn to page 44,” for example when the choice is made on page 6.
I would actually reread the books before returning them to the library because I was so curious about all the other possible outcomes. It was the ability to choose, and knowing that my decisions were having an effect on the outcome of the story that made those books so irresistible to me.
Your life is a Choose Your Own Adventure story, and you’re the hero of your own story. How the story ends is in your hands. Choose wisely 😊
